We are actively recruiting for a Construction Project Manager (CPM's) to oversee and support the renovation of spaces across University Grounds.C&RS offers a variety of services ranging from general trade support for small projects to full planning, design and construction support for renovation projects under $2 million and full construction services for projects over $2 million. This role offers professional development opportunities and clear career pathways within Facilities Management. Facilities Management supports the University of Virginia's wide range of academic, research, and patient care programs.With over 1,100 employees dedicated to excellence, Facilities Management is responsible for managing the University's Major Capital Construction and Renovations Program, the day-to-day operation, repair and maintenance of UVA's buildings, infrastructure, and grounds as well as other University owned and leased properties. Position Summary: Construction Project Managers (CPM) manage daily construction phase management on various projects across the University. They facilitate the efforts of architects, engineers, subcontractors, and in-house trades. Construction Project Managers promote completion of non-capital and capital projects by developing, monitoring, and managing project requirements. Construction Project Managers work autonomously on routine management and correspondence concerning construction from inception through project close out; however, they report to and receive guidance from their supervisors. Compensation: The Anticipated Hiring Range for this position is $75,000 - $85,000. This is a full-time position with UVA benefits. Employee benefits package highlights include:
