Summary


Draft Technicians are responsible for the install, repair, and maintenance of on and off premise draft accounts. They also set up temporary draft systems for special events, i.e. beer and music festivals.


Primary Responsibilities



  • Install, troubleshoot and service all draft accounts in a timely manner as directed by manager
  • Provide bids to retail accounts for services including billings and collection maintenance
  • Assist, prepare and participate in all special events as needed
  • Bidding, billing and collection for service work and deliveries
  • Assist sales teams with troubleshooting, servicing existing accounts, repair and maintenance
  • Point of sales and merchandising
  • Develop and maintain positive, cooperative and team-oriented relationships with co-workers, supervisors, managers, and other you come into contact with
  • Complete all other tasks or projects as assigned
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with those of Company's Core Values and all times



Key Competencies



  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Effective organizational and time management skills

Work Environment


This job operates in our accounts, mostly indoors with occasional outdoor work.


Physical Demands



  • Lift/Carry 50 lbs. repetitively and up to 75 lbs.
  • Push/pull up to 100 lbs.
  • Bend/stoop/crouch/squat/use arms/wrists/hands/grasp
  • Climb stairs/ladder
  • Work indoors and outdoors
  • Must be able to drive and operate a vehicle
  • Operate equipment



Expected Hours of Work


This is a full-time position, days/hours of work vary, and may include weekends.

Local travel only


Required Education and Experience



  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and auto insurance required
  • Minimum of 18 years of age


Preferred Education and Experience



  • 6 months draft equipment experience
