Position Summary

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to help advance our DevOps practice and enable secure, reliable, and efficient software delivery across the organization. This role will partner closely with Software Development, Infrastructure, Security, Support, and business stakeholders to automate processes, improve platform reliability, and accelerate delivery.

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent communication skills, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is passionate about continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and related automation tools.
  • Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform, ARM Templates, and Bicep.
  • Partner with development teams to improve software delivery, deployment automation, and release processes.
  • Implement and promote DevOps, DevSecOps, and platform engineering best practices.
  • Support change management processes and ensure compliance with organizational governance requirements.
  • Collaborate with Security and Compliance teams to support SOC 2, ITGC, HIPAA, and HITRUST controls.
  • Improve monitoring, operational readiness, incident response, and root cause analysis practices.
  • Work cross-functionally with development teams, business stakeholders, and other IT towers to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Research emerging technologies, recommend improvements, and drive automation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related disciplines.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile development practices.
  • Hands-on experience building and supporting enterprise CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with:
    • GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions
    • Terraform
    • ARM Templates
    • Bicep
    • Source control and release management practices
  • Knowledge of ITSM/ITIL processes and Change Request management.
  • Familiarity with compliance and governance frameworks including SOC 2, ITGC, HIPAA, and HITRUST.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
