Job Description
Under close supervision, responsible for applying standard professional accounting principles and assisting with basic accounting functions. The Accountant I supports financial processes by maintaining accurate financial records, processing journal entries, and assisting in routine reconciliations in compliance with company policies and U.S. GAAP.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in billing information entry and tracking, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
  • Balance books and assist in preparation of basic profit and loss, cash flow, income, and balance sheet statements.
  • Learn to interpret financial reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Monitor and prepare monthly revenue and expenditure reports for designated projects.
  • Provide accurate records of assets, liabilities, and other financial transactions.
  • Support preparation of federal, state, and local reports and tax filings under close supervision.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining accounting systems such as journal entries, General Ledger postings, Accounts Receivable and Payable transactions.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Ability to follow instructions and work under close supervision.
  • Attention to detail with good organizational skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Interest in learning technical and analytical accounting skills in the semiconductor/hardware industry.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles, U.S. GAAP, and financial reporting.

Minimum Qualifications (Education, Experience, Certification, & Licensure)

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • No experience necessary. Previous experience or relevant internship preferred but is not required
