JOB SUMMARY:
PCOM Georgia is looking for a vibrant and collaborative osteopathic physician with a passion for teaching and osteopathic patient care. The candidate should incorporate osteopathic principles routinely into patient care, be well versed in various osteopathic manipulative medicine modalities, be a team player and enjoy teaching. The candidate should be able to participate in contemporary teaching approaches and modalities, including but not limited to: up to date understanding of osteopathic modalities, use of contemporary electronic platforms designed for collaboration and education and electronic medical records.
In addition to the above, the candidate must also have a profound appreciation for the history and heritage of the osteopathic profession and be dedicated to the teaching of Osteopathic Principles and modalities. The candidate will be joining an extremely collaborative and hard-working group of colleagues who exemplify the above ideals and are dedicated to the education and preservation of osteopathic principles. The adjunct faculty is expected to teach DO medical students at PCOM Suwanee GA in years 1 and 2 in the lab. The position may possibly involve patient care in the Osteopathic Specialty Clinic. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Candidate must be in current excellent professional standing and continue to maintain high professional standards in all aspects of professional service. Candidate will participate in the education of OMS-1 & OMS-2 students at PCOM Georgia. Candidate will contribute to the education of Osteopathic medical students the laboratory setting. Candidate will evaluate student progress in the development of appropriate medical knowledge by practical assessments. Other duties as assigned by OMM Chair or Campus Dean.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Preferred two years teaching Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine in lecture, lab and small group settings or the equivalent. Participation in an osteopathic scholarship/fellowship program is favorable.

Certifications, Licenses, Registrations
Maintain active medical licenses and board certification in NMM or other appropriate primary care board certification with its equivalent proficiency in OMM. Participation in osteopathic education, CME's, seminars, and education in adjunct treatment modalities are beneficial.
Compensation will be commensurate with the candidate's experience, education, and the responsibilities of the role. The referenced salary range is based on PCOM good faith belief at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, work experience, market conditions, education/training and skill level.
