We have an exciting Load Tracker role in Merriam, KS. The Transportation Load Tracker plays a crucial role in connecting the Transportation Team, Sales Team, Customers, and Plant Shipping. This position serves as a communication bridge, optimizing efficiency across Seaboard Foods' Supply Chain.

RESPONSIBILITIES & TASKS



  • Communicate with internal and external contacts related to pick-ups or deliveries.
  • Work closely with plant personnel and customers to adhere to set schedules.
  • Monitor and manage appointment schedules to maximize efficiency and minimize delays.
  • Set delivery appointments within acceptable parameters using various means as required.
  • Actively engage with customers to encourage adherence to transportation schedules and commitments.

QUALIFICATIONS



  • Proficiency with Microsoft suite including Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Effective written and oral communication skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Experience with transportation industry
  • Ability to effectively problem-solve



SCHEDULE



  • Monday-Friday 7:30AM-4:30PM

  • Primarily an office environment with some need to work in the field.
  • The hours and days of work are established by departmental needs and at the discretion of management. After-hours, weekends, and overnight travel as requested.
