The Sales Support Representative III will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of the sales department by providing essential administrative and logistical assistance. This position involves managing order processing and entry with accuracy, maintaining detailed records, and serving as a responsive liaison to customer inquiries and requests for proposals (RFPs). Beyond routine support, the role also encompasses data analysis responsibilities, including generating comprehensive reports on sales targets, activities, and various key performance metrics. The successful candidate will coordinate and organize meetings and events for customers and prospects, prepare compelling presentation materials, and manage exhibits to enhance customer engagement. This position requires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and substantial experience. Candidates should bring a minimum of 4 to 7 years of related professional experience, demonstrating the ability to handle moderately complex projects both independently and collaboratively. Reporting to a supervisor or team leader, the Sales Support Representative III is an integral member of the sales team, contributing not only through administrative expertise but also by training and supporting colleagues on systems, processes, and procedural best practices. As an essential function, the Sales Support Representative III will ensure accurate and timely processing of sales orders, serving as the backbone for the sales transaction pipeline. They will maintain meticulous records to facilitate smooth operations and compliance, responding to customer queries and RFPs with professionalism and efficiency. This role demands the management of sales data, where generating precise and meaningful reports will guide the sales team's strategic efforts. Coordinating customer meetings and company events will be a key responsibility, requiring organizational skills and attention to detail to foster strong client relationships. Preparation of presentation content and exhibits will support the sales team's ability to deliver impactful messages and cultivate prospects. Additionally, training and mentoring sales colleagues on system navigation and procedural implementation will reinforce operational excellence. The role demands a balance of independent judgment and teamwork, working closely with supervisors, sales staff, and other departments.
