Without them, I'd be waiting somewhere, waiting for someone to give me a chance to live..." - Client from Telecare What You Will Do to Change Lives The Start-Up Project Administrator coordinates development of new business opportunities consistent with the corporate business and marketing plans. This involves collaboration with other Start-Up staff, all corporate departments, and funding/regulatory agencies. This individual is chiefly responsible for clinical program development, building program teams, and conducting orientations for new programs. Shifts Available: Full-Time | AM/PM | Shifts: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM | Days: Monday - Friday Expected starting wage range is $134,060.10 - $146,817.68. Telecare applies geographic differentials to its pay ranges. The pay range assigned to this role will be based on the geographic location from which the role is performed. Starting pay is commensurate with relevant experience above the minimum requirements.
Essential Functions
- Demonstrates the Telecare mission, purpose, values, and beliefs in everyday language and contact with internal and external stakeholders
- Assists in locating and completing the initial review of potential program sites and coordinates operational site reviews
- In collaboration with Operations and Quality Management, creates new policies and procedures as needed for various program types
- Assumes the leadership role for new development projects as assigned, including:
- Recruiting and hiring of staff
- Program planning, design and implementation
- In conjunction with Start-Up Project Manager, completing submissions to credentialing/licensing agencies, as required
- Coordinating the creation/implementation of community and public relations tasks associated with the project and collaborating with key agency personnel
- Helping interpret needs of program to inform site selection, site planning, and renovations
- Coordinating and scheduling orientation; Conducting many of the training components; helping train new Administrator
- Serving as temporary new program Administrator, as needed
- Participates as a key member of the Development department and Start-Up team
- Demonstrates a good rapport and cooperative working relationships with all members internal and external stakeholders; responds to team members with concern and promotes group morale
- Demonstrates a knowledge of Telecare's customers including members served, families, and governmental agencies in all interactions and conduct
- Represents Telecare professionally in community, state, and national associations to create a clear, positive understanding of Telecare programs
Duties and responsibilities may be added, deleted, and/or changed at the discretion of management.
Position requires driving own personal vehicle for company business such as trainings, offsite meetings, etc.
Skills
- Practical knowledge of psychiatric inpatient programs, community mental health, and the state mental health system, I/DD population
- Working knowledge of state funding and Medi-Care systems
- Strong decision maker
- Able to take initiative and work independently
What You Bring to the Table (Must Have)
- Current professional license in state of operation, in California LCSW, LMFT, Psy. D, or licensed equivalent for Washington, Oregon and Arizona, and four (4) years of experience in an administrative management position in a behavioral health care or health care setting three (3) years of which had responsibility for supervision of professional staff, budgeting, program planning and licensing; OR
- Current RN license in state of operation and seven (7) years of experience in an administrative management position in a behavioral health care or health care setting five (5) years of which had responsibility for supervision of professional staff, budgeting, program planning and licensing
- Significant travel.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- All opportunities at Telecare are contingent upon successful completion and receipt of acceptable results of the applicable post-offer physical examination, 2-step PPD test for tuberculosis, acceptable criminal background clearances, excluded party sanctions, and degree or license verification. If the position requires driving, valid driver license, a motor vehicle clearance, and proof of auto insurance is required at time of employment and must be maintained throughout employment. Additional regulatory, contractual, or local requirements may apply.
