About the Opportunity:
We're seeking an experienced Supply Chain Business Manager III to help drive delivery performance and supplier operational excellence within a global supply chain organization. As part of the Supply Chain Commodity Team, you'll play a key role in supporting aggressive business growth, managing global supplier relationships, and navigating complex operational challenges across multiple commodities and manufacturing locations.
This position offers the opportunity to directly influence supplier performance, material availability, cost management, inventory optimization, and operational execution across a global supplier network.

What You'll Do:
  • Plan, schedule, and monitor the movement of materials throughout the production cycle to determine procurement requirements.
  • Manage global suppliers across multiple commodity categories and manufacturing locations.
  • Establish supplier goals and commitments to ensure material deliveries meet forecasted demand.
  • Define supplier performance metrics and scorecards to drive accountability and continuous improvement.
  • Evaluate supplier quality, delivery, responsiveness, capacity, and operational performance.
  • Monitor supplier risk and assess the effectiveness of preferred supply base strategies.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to:
    • Procurement
    • Inventory Control
    • Manufacturing Strategy
    • Supplier Collaboration
    • Operational Excellence
  • Implement and support inventory management methodologies including:
    • Just-In-Time (JIT)
    • Kanban
    • Min/Max Planning
    • Inventory Optimization
  • Represent Supplier Business Management on cross-functional commodity teams.
  • Partner with Engineering and suppliers to resolve complex manufacturing, quality, and delivery challenges.
  • Develop presentations, white papers, dashboards, and process flow maps to support improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor product costs, support cost reduction programs, and help prevent negative Purchase Price Variance (PPV).
  • Drive supplier manufacturing process improvements to improve product quality and on-time delivery performance.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Management, Supplier Management, Commodity Management, Procurement, Operations, Manufacturing, or related fields.
  • 5+ years of experience managing global factories, suppliers, and multiple commodity categories.
  • 3+ years of experience supporting material planning, inventory management, production support, or supply chain execution activities.
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing operational performance metrics, supplier KPIs, inventory trends, and business data.
  • 2+ years of experience driving supplier development, continuous improvement, or operational excellence initiatives.
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline.

  • Experience using SAP or other ERP systems in manufacturing or supply chain environments.
  • Experience managing supplier performance, supplier development, and business reviews.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex problems with scalable and repeatable solutions.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of inventory control, material flow, procurement, and manufacturing operations.
  • Experience supporting global supply chains and international suppliers.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and external suppliers.
  • Experience creating executive-level presentations, reports, and process documentation.
  • Strong project management and operational problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and inventory optimization methodologies.
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check.
  • Overtime: May be required based on operational needs and business demands.
  • Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM.
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote.
