Job Title: Metal Finisher
Location: Clearwater, FL
Employment Type: Direct Placement

Compensation: $20 - $27/ hour
Schedule: 1st Shift, flexible between 6:00am - 5:30pm
Hours: 50-54/ week with occasional Saturday overtime

What You'll Do:
  • Perform turnkey metal finishing operations on high-value, delicate components while maintaining extremely tight tolerances and quality standards.
  • Perform manual anodizing processes, with exposure to new electric hoists and automated machinery supporting Type 3 anodizing operations.
  • Work with precision plates and components requiring exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet required specifications, quality standards, and aesthetic expectations.
  • Follow established procedures carefully and maintain a clean, organized, and aesthetically professional work environment.
  • Work collaboratively with the existing finishing team and manager during an approximately 30-day onboarding period before transitioning toward autonomous work.
  • Maintain accurate production and process information and prepare turnover notes to ensure a smooth transition to the night shift.
  • Support a culture of continuous improvement, quality, organization, and accountability as the facility continues to grow.
Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 3+ years of experience in metal finishing, anodizing, or electroplating
  • 3+ years of experience with Type 1, Type 2, and/or Type 3 anodizing
  • 3+ years of experience with Type 3 NADCAP anodizing
  • 3+ years of experience performing metal finishing processes such as anodizing, electroplating, or conversion coating
  • 3+ years of experience preparing parts for finishing (cleaning, degreasing, masking, racking)
What Sets You Apart:
  • Experience working with plating chemistries and monitoring bath controls such as temperature, pH, and concentration
  • Experience troubleshooting finish defects such as adhesion issues, discoloration, pitting, or roughness
  • Experience using buffers, polishers, tumblers, grinders, or similar finishing equipment
  • Experience working to ISO, MIL, and/or ASTM quality standards
  • Experience working with high-value or precision components requiring tight tolerances
  • Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
