Guerrilla Chief (G-Chief)
Robin Sage / Pineland training sites, central North Carolina The G-Chief is an unconventional warfare (UW) senior role-player who portrays the head of a guerrilla faction and a group of irregular soldiers in accordance with the Pineland Scenario, Atlantican country studies, Cadre briefings, and the written Scenario Plan. During Robin Sage CULEX, also assigns the G-Chief Role Player Site Manager duties for each base-camp training site. Job Duties: * Perform G-Chief functions in accordance with the Pineland Scenario and Atlantican country studies as an unconventional warfare senior role-player, adhering to the Cadre written Scenario Plan. * Portray the head of a guerrilla faction and lead a group of irregular soldiers in support of exercise training objectives. * Attend Cadre Team briefings before exercises; back brief proposed role-playing details and adjust execution in accordance with Cadre decisions. * During Guerrilla Reception, brief the Guerrilla NCOIC, assemble guerrilla role-players, verify personal equipment, gather and submit in-processing data, and correct identified data errors. * For Robin Sage, assemble and transport the guerrilla group to Camp Mackall using Government-furnished transportation; identify detailed roles for guerrilla role-players based on the approved scenario and individual characteristics. * Train role-players on historic personality profiles and scenario details before student arrival, and conduct exercise play in consonance with the scenario, Cadre briefings, dilemmas, evaluation criteria, student handouts, and Pineland Scenario. * Lead the guerrilla group on foot to guerrilla base camps, establish and occupy up to three camps per exercise in accordance with UW doctrine, and arrive at required times and places in accordance with the scenario. * Conduct reviews to critique and adjust role-playing. During Robin Sage CULEX, execute Role Player Site Manager duties for the assigned base-camp training site. Basic Qualifications: * Be a qualified Army 18-series MOS in good standing with ten (10) years or more of experience. * Possess a current and valid SECRET security clearance.
* Be able to perform in an austere field environment during all weather conditions, day and night, during field duties, and navigate on roads and cross-country using military or civilian maps, road signs, landmarks, and/or Cadre/chain-of-command directions.
* Provide proof of U.S. citizenship or eligibility to work in the United States if not a U.S. citizen.
* Be able to provide information required for installation/facility background and access checks. Other Requirements: Performance Location: Robin Sage / Pineland training sites in central North Carolina, including Camp Mackall and assigned base-camp training sites; other exercise movement may occur. Working Environment: Field-intensive role-player work in austere conditions, day and night and in varying weather. Duties include cross-country movement, establishment and occupation of guerrilla base camps, scenario-driven role play, interaction with students and Cadre, and exercise-dependent schedules that may include extended training days, weekends, and federal holidays.
