Security Operations Analyst, IS Security, Fully Remote

The Security Operations (SOC) Analyst is responsible for monitoring, triaging and validating security alerts across Norton Healthcare's security ecosystem. This role performs initial investigation, enriches alerts with contextual data, collects evidence and initiates containment actions when appropriate. The SOC Analyst serves as the front line of security operations and works closely with incident response, detection engineering and platform teams to ensure alerts are handled consistently, efficiently and with high confidence. The SOC Analyst ensures each alert progresses through triage, investigation, escalation or closure with clear documentation and measurable outcomes. The SOC Analyst also provides structured feedback to improve detections, reduce false positives and strengthen overall security posture.

Required:

• Three years of experience in security operations technology experience OR one year of work experience focused on SOC, SIEM, EDR, identity management, network security or cloud security.

• Associate degree in cybersecurity, information systems
• CompTIA Security +, or CySA+, Microsoft SC-900, SC-200
