Infor is searching for a Senior Event Marketing Specialist to support the planning, management, and execution of a diverse portfolio of regional, industry events - including 3rd party tradeshows, hosted, internal, and partner events. In this role, the Senior Event Marketing Specialist will have a direct impact on the success of Infor's Global Marketing organization. The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within cross-functional teams. Exceptional communication, creativity, and a disciplined approach to process and budget management are essential. Being adaptable and comfortable in a dynamic, fast-paced environment is critical.

A Typical Day in the Life Includes:
  • Supporting a portfolio of marketing events including 3rd party tradeshows and hosted, internal, and partner events
  • Partnering closely with Field Marketing, Solution Marketing, Brand, and Partner Marketing teams
  • Overseeing all elements of event coordination: budgeting, contract negotiation, vendor management, sponsorship prospecting, site selection, accommodations, registration, staffing, on-site production, F&B, and logistics
  • Define, communicate, and maintain clear timelines and priorities for all projects. Collaborate with marketing managers to develop detailed event plans that outline objectives, and deliverables
  • Implement industry best practices and design innovative event experiences to ensure brand consistency and cost-effective execution
  • Track impact of events to measure return on investment and help shape future strategic planning
  • Proactively contribute to marketing initiatives and embrace new challenges as they arise

Basic Qualifications:
  • Previous event management experience with a focus on trade shows and event operations
  • Previous experience with or knowledge of marketing and communications
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
  • Previous experience with Marketing in a B2B technology organization
  • Experience working with external agencies (including production companies and exhibit houses)
  • Familiarity of event management tools (Cvent, ClickUp, etc.)
  • Experience using AI in a professional capacity
