Job Description

****This position is part-time and temporary (expected through April 2028)***

The QA / Project Support Specialist provides part-time quality assurance, project coordination, and administrative support for the Building 27 DDL Move project. The position assists the Government Project Manager with planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, project execution, quality verification, issue resolution, and accurate reporting to help ensure relocation activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with contract and Government requirements. This is a part-time position for up to 2,000 labor hours; the work schedule will be coordinated with the Government Project Manager based on project requirements and operational needs.

Duties and Responsibilities

* Provides day-to-day quality assurance and project support to the Government Project Manager for the Building 27 DDL relocation and related activities
* Supports move planning, sequencing, scheduling, and execution, including coordination of dependencies and operational requirements
* Coordinates with occupants, customers, Government personnel, project stakeholders, contractors, and trades to support timely relocation activities
* Oversees and coordinates the relocation of furniture, equipment, materials, and other project-related assets
* Supports site readiness, occupancy preparation, transition activities, and coordination of access, safety, cybersecurity, environmental, and operational requirements
* Attends project meetings, site visits, and coordination meetings; prepare meeting minutes, written summaries, and action-item logs as requested
* Develops and maintains project schedules, milestone trackers, action logs, requirements list, and deliverable-tracking documentation
* Conducts quality assurance inspections and verify completed work against applicable project requirements, policies, procedures, and safety standards
* Monitors contractor performance and compliance; identify and document deficiencies, punch-list items, corrective actions, and completion status
* Identifies project risks, issues, schedule impacts, and coordination gaps and promptly communicate recommended corrective actions
* Prepares accurate weekly or monthly status reports, progress updates, briefings, technical assessments, recommendations, and other project documentation
* Assists with task-order management and tracking and with procurement, logistics, or facility-related coordination activities, as required
* Maintains effective, professional, and timely communication with the Government Task Monitor, Contracting Officer's Representative, Government Project Manager, and designated stakeholders
* Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Required Skills and Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree in project management, business administration, construction management, facilities management, logistics, engineering technology, or a related field; relevant experience may
be substituted for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis, up to four (4) years
* Experience supporting project coordination, quality assurance, facility operations, relocation activities, construction, logistics, or a closely related function
* Ability to organize and track schedules, milestones, deliverables, action items, deficiencies, and corrective actions through completion
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare clear meeting minutes, status reports, briefings, and recommendations
* Demonstrated ability to coordinate effectively with Government personnel, customers, occupants, contractors, trades, and other project stakeholders
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to inspect work, verify requirements, identify issues, and maintain accurate project records
* Ability to manage multiple priorities, respond to changing operational needs, and complete assignments within established timelines
* Proficiency with standard office, scheduling, and project-tracking tools used to prepare reports, logs, schedules, and presentations
* Ability to work independently while following contract requirements, policies, procedures, and applicable safety standards

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

* Experience supporting a facility move, occupancy transition, or relocation project in a government or other highly regulated environment
* Experience performing quality assurance inspections, contractor oversight, punch-list tracking, or
corrective-action follow-up
* Familiarity with Government contracting, task-order support, or Contracting Officer's Representative and Task Monitor coordination
* Project management, quality, construction, or facilities-related training or certification
Physical Demands and Working Conditions

* Work may be performed in an environmentally controlled office, remotely, or at designated Government facilities, based on project requirements
* Must be able to sit, enter data using a computer keyboard, and view a computer monitor for extended periods of time
* Must be able to conduct site visits and walkthroughs that may require prolonged standing and walking through active relocation or facility work areas
* Must be able to communicate in person, by telephone, and through virtual meeting platforms and respond promptly to project needs
* Must be able to lift and carry up to 25 pounds unassisted
* May be required to use site-specific personal protective equipment and comply with all facility and operational safety requirements

Terms of Employment & Eligibility Requirements

* Must be a U.S. Citizen.
* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
* Must possess a valid driver's license, without special restrictions.
* Must be able to successfully complete a background screening.
* Must possess or be able to obtain a public trust clearance prior to employment and maintain public trust clearance for the duration of employment.

Rate of Pay/Benefits

Hourly Rate: $45.67-$50.49
