Join our team as an Inside Sales Representative and play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while helping homeowners, contractors, and builders complete their projects successfully. In this position, you'll be the trusted resource customers rely on for product recommendations, project guidance, and outstanding service. What You'll Do As an Inside Sales Representative, you will: Deliver exceptional customer service to retail customers in person, over the phone, and via email. Assist customers with product selection, pricing, availability, returns, and exchanges. Actively promote and sell building materials, products, and related services. Prepare estimates and quotes for smaller projects such as decks, fences, sheds, stairs, and more. Process customer orders accurately and coordinate product deliveries. Manage priorities and workflow to meet daily and team performance goals. Support customer education by helping coordinate and participate in workshops and events. Resolve routine customer concerns and partner with senior team members on more complex issues. Assist with merchandising, stocking, inventory management, store appearance, and signage. What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required. At least six (6) months of sales, customer service, or related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Strong communication and customer relationship skills. Ability to multitask and stay organized in a dynamic retail environment. A positive attitude and willingness to learn product knowledge and sales techniques. Team-oriented mindset with a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences. Work Environment & Physical Requirements This role combines office, retail, warehouse, and outdoor environments, providing variety throughout the day. Requirements include: Ability to work in both indoor and outdoor conditions, including varying temperatures and weather. Frequent lifting and carrying of up to 25 pounds and occasional lifting of up to 80 pounds. Ability to stand and walk for most of the workday. Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, and reaching. In addition to the base wage listed, this position is further eligible to receive commission compensation for earned commissions related to sales of eligible Company products and/or services subject to changes in plan design and documents and in accordance with applicable law. Commissions are based on a percentage of the transactions sold and subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable Commission Agreement.
