  • $1.00 per hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts

Your Work Schedule and Shift Information

  • 8-hour shifts
    • 2nd shift: 2:45 pm to 11:15 pm
    • 3rd shift: 10:45 pm to 7:15 am
  • Currently hiring for 2nd shift and/or 3rd shift dependent upon business need
  • Must be willing to work overtime, weekends, nights, holidays and emergency events as needed
  • Plant operates 24 hours/day, 7 days/week.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

As part of our manufacturing team, you will:

  • Perform preventive and reactive maintenance on processing and packaging equipment to improve reliability and operational performance
  • Understanding and following all company safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment
  • Installing, maintaining, repairing, and replacing industrial processing and packaging machinery, work tools and equipment
  • Identifying/diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical issues, electrical and/or electronic issues
  • Management of work orders, parts requisition, and data entry through understanding and use of Maximo Maintenance Management System
  • Providing technical support and plant leadership for equipment troubleshooting and equipment modification
  • Understanding, initiating, and participating in Root Cause Analysis (Why, Why)
  • Performing both uptime and down time preventative maintenance
  • Effectively communicate and productively interact with all levels of team personnel and outside contractors, vendors, visitors, etc.
  • Participate in Continuous Improvement initiatives to increase platform performance
  • Assist in training new employees

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must possess the ability to understand and effectively communicate with co-workers, supervisors, and others in the workplace regarding work matters (our business is generally conducted in English)
  • 2+ years (minimum) experience in industrial maintenance or related industry experience and/or equivalent education in a related field/industry
  • Must have a solid understanding of mechanical and pneumatic systems, basic electrical troubleshooting skills, ability to diagnose problems, repair or replace components, preventative maintenance and attention to detail
  • Experience with various tools and technologies, including hand tools, power tools, basic electrical skills including using a multimeter; checking voltage, testing motors, safely opening panels, resetting brakers, identifying faults and use of a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Ability to work independently and as a team with flexibility to quickly shift work priorities
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, push, pull, and twist for extended periods
  • Willingness to work in hot, cold, noisy, wet, or dusty conditions
  • Ability to climb and/or work at heights while utilizing stairs, ladders, personnel lifts, or platforms
  • Ability to follow human and food safety, quality, and grooming standards
  • Ability to wear such as protective clothing and equipment (Personal Protective Equipment -PPE) such as safety shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection, hard/bump cap, hair/beard net, gloves, and face masks (when required)
  • Ability to work around high-speed machinery and food allergens
