As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control, assist visitors and employees, and use computer or tablet systems as needed while providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at public transportation facilities and transit properties.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit centers, parking areas, platforms, facilities, and surrounding perimeters to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Monitor access points, maintain awareness of passenger and vehicle activity, and assist with directing visitors in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and complete required documentation for incidents, patrols, and other security-related activities.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
