As a Security Officer Driver Reception in Syracuse, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a utilities location, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence while supporting access control, visitor management, and security-related communications. What You'll Do:

Provide exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and delivery personnel at a utility location by following site-specific procedures and access requirements.
• Serve as the primary front desk contact, greet and direct visitors, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Monitor entry activity, receive and route phone calls, manage incoming deliveries, and communicate relevant information to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and follow established emergency response procedures.
• Assist with security-related administrative duties, including maintaining logs, reporting unusual activity, and supporting access control processes in accordance with Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
