* * *Position Summary* Support the mortgage closing and funding process by reviewing loan documentation, coordinating with settlement agents and closing attorneys, ensuring compliance requirements are met, and accurately disbursing loan funds. Responsible for maintaining an organized funding pipeline, minimizing post-closing errors, and ensuring timely loan funding and delivery to servicing. * * *Key Responsibilities* * Manage and prioritize mortgage loans scheduled for funding to ensure timely and accurate closings. * Review closing packages and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy, required signatures, and compliance with lending guidelines. * Coordinate with settlement agents, title companies, and closing attorneys to obtain required documents, verify wire instructions, and facilitate funding requests. * Process loan disbursements, wire transfers, payoffs, and funding authorizations while ensuring funds are balanced and accurately distributed. * Identify and resolve documentation discrepancies, communicate outstanding conditions, and submit completed loans to Post Closing and servicing systems. * Ensure compliance with company policies, mortgage regulations, and federal, state, and local requirements. *Qualifications* * Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage deadlines in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. * Experience in administrative, clerical, mortgage, banking, or financial services operations. * Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills. * Proficient in Microsoft Office and navigating multiple systems and applications. * Ability to interpret procedures, regulations, and financial documentation while maintaining a high level of accuracy. *Preferred Qualifications* * Knowledge of mortgage closing documents, funding procedures, and lending regulations. * Familiarity with financial services operations and mortgage compliance requirements. * High school diploma required; additional education preferred. *Job Type & Location*This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pensacola, FL. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $17.60 - $17.60/hr.
