Laundry Attendant

Responsibilities:

  Responsible for garment sorting and finishing to include utilizing steam tunnel, pressing equipment and replacing buttons

  
  
• 
  

  Responsible for sorting of garments by classification and color. Finish all garments to a quality standard

  
  
• Maintain all quality and efficiency standards
• Monitor and maintain all safety requirements
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Ensure equipment malfunctions are detected and remedied
• Other related duties and tasks as assigned by Management

Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary licenses and/or certifications (preferred)
Bilingual (Spanish) a plus (preferred)
Other physical requirements include but are not limited to lifting, reaching, kneeling, stooping, and bending (preferred)
Must be able to stand and walk for majority of a normal shift (preferred)
Six (6) months of experience in finishing/processing garments with experience on steam tunnel, pressers, and shirt units preferred (preferred)
