Technician (Aircraft Wire Harness Fab) Location: Stratford, CT (06614) Job ID: #72943 Pay Range: $30-40 Pay based on experience 4/10hr days M-TH - 1st Shift5:00AM EST - 3:30PM THE COMPANY -Work with one of the Largest American Owned Aerospace & Defense Companies. Job Description: This position requires someone who has agood amount of experience with (aircraft wiring), specificallyconstructing wiring harnesses from electrical schematics. Candidate also needs to haveexperience routing wiring harnesses in a large electronics rack and terminating to a rear disconnect panel. Mechanical skills are also required for mounting items in the racks. Technician capable of working from engineering drawings, electrical andelectronic schematicswith limited guidanceto fabricate, install, diagnose and repair equipment and test installations in support of System Integration Laboratory Test Facilities. Must be able tofabricate wire harnesses, test boxes and associated laboratory test equipment. Previous experience working with, fabricating and terminatingmilitarywiring harnesses and connectors. Basic Qualifications: Strong electronic and electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills. Previous experience with electronic and electrical fabrication. Previous experience working in a laboratory or manufacturing environment. Mechanical and general fabrication skills.
