| Job Description |
ECU Department of Student Life is currently seeking several
LWCC Student Assistants.
The Ledonia Wright Cultural Center (
LWCC) is seeking motivated and dedicated full-time undergraduate students for the Student Assistant position for the Fall 2026 - Spring 2027 academic year. As a Student Assistant, you will represent the
LWCC at resource fairs, assist with the general upkeep of the center, and other general tasks as assigned.
The
LWCC Student Assistant role fosters personal growth by cultivating cultural competency and contributing to a sense of community. This is an excellent opportunity for students to gain practical experience, develop professionally, and make a meaningful impact while attending East Carolina University.
General Responsibilities:
- Staff front desk and welcome visitors to the center
- Assist with general office upkeep to ensure a clean and organized environment for visitors
- Represent the LWCC at information fairs and programs, sharing details about the center's resources and events
- Supporting events from setup to ending
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong time-keeping skills.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others in a team setting.
- Ability to assist in program/event planning
- Adherence to deadlines
- Willingness to contribute to the overall operation of the LWCC
- Ability to generate, share and follow through on creative ideas
