POSITION TITLE: Customer Service Representative II, Chain Supply

DIV/DEPARTMENT NAME: Semiconductor Equipment Division (SED)

REPORTS TO: Manager, Chain Supply

POSITION STATUS: Full-Time

WORK LOCATION: Dallas, TX (DLS)

WORK STYLE DESIGNATION: Hybrid (+50% Onsite)

WORK STYLE REQUIREMENT: Onsite - 60% / Remote - 40%

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

TRAVEL REQUIRED: 0-5%

POSITIONS SUPERVISED: None

EXPECTED PAY RANGE: $21.51 - $29.58 per hour

The pay range is for the position's base salary only. This position may be eligible for other compensation including bonus pay and/or allowances. Candidates will receive additional information during the interview and selection process.

POSITION SUMMARY

Interacts with customers prior to, during and after sale. Develops and maintains positive customer relations; coordinates with various departments and functions within the company to ensure customer requests are handled appropriately and in a timely manner. This position has authority to substantially affect the relationship between the company and a customer, either from a financial standpoint or product standpoint. Focus of work can be in pre-sale, post-sale or both.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that customer orders are taken properly and scheduled to release company inventory, which includes interface with customers on a daily basis regarding orders, pricing and availability.
  • Responsible for customer accounts from start of order until completion, as well as maintain technical and professional expertise in order to ensure constant communication with customers.
  • Handle all emergency shipments after normal business hours and weekends, including pulling stock and arranging carrier shipment schedule.
  • Generate and maintain accurate records of each contract.
  • Generate and present Sales Reports
  • Handle quoting process from beginning to end
  • Provide necessary support for all Repair/ Warranty Orders
  • Generate invoicing for customers.
  • Maintain records of all transactions dealing with customer orders.
  • Attend and chair several key meetings on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Assemble Weekly Sales Report for Purchasing Meeting and chair said meeting
  • Conduct on-site customer visits
  • Work closely with all departments to ensure procedures are followed.
  • Write and maintain ISO Procedures for the department.
  • Travel will be required as necessary. Some international travel may be required.
  • Ensure replacement parts are issued to the customer in a timely manner.
  • Be on-call as scheduled.

EDUCATION, LICENSES, AND/OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess a 4-Year Degree in Marketing, Supply Chain Program, Business Administration, Industrial Distribution or equivalent years of experience.
  • APICS Certification a plus

EXPERIENCE AND TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

  • 3-5 Years experience in Customer Service, Inside Sales/Marketing or Inventory Planning environment or educational equivalent.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIREMENTS & SAFETY REQUIREMENTS

  • Must speak, read and write English.
  • Must be proficient in MS Excel, SAP, and Outlook.
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Must be able to work within a team environment
  • Able to work the required shift, as determined
  • Must be able for On-call duties - 24/7 Basis for emergency shipments
  • Due to frequent business transactions with Ireland, Israel and Japan, relevant experience or language skills are a definite plus.
  • Must be punctual and dependable.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must have basic understanding of Billing / Accounting / releasing invoices
  • Able to prioritize tasks and be flexible tasks.
  • Must meet CSR 2 proficiency of SAP as defined by the SCT Job Skills Matrix
  • Must have, at a minimum, Level 2 proficiency of software as defined by the SCT Job

  • Ability to meet the physical demands of being On-call, including but not limited to, 24/7 pager coverage, replying to customer pages in a timely manner without interference, answering pager calls without effecting regular work schedule.
