Food & Beverage Manager, Crayola Experience Orlando

GENERAL SUMMARY:

The Food & Beverage Manager is responsible for leading all food and beverage operations within the Crayola Experience, creating memorable dining moments that complement the attraction's mission of inspiring creativity and self-expression. This role oversees daily operations, team development, inventory management, and service excellence while driving guest satisfaction and financial performance. Through innovative menu offerings, engaging presentations, and high-quality service standards, the manager helps enhance the overall guest journey and contributes to an experience that is as vibrant and imaginative as the environment it supports. This position is onsite and requires availability on weekends and holidays.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage locations, including the Cafe, Snack Shack, Birthday Parties, and special event food service programs, ensuring a consistent and engaging guest experience.
• Ensure smooth, efficient service during high-volume periods while delivering a welcoming atmosphere that supports family connection and guest enjoyment throughout the attraction.
• Maintain high standards and regulatory compliance for food quality, presentation, cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety, ensuring every guest interaction reflects Crayola Experience standards.
• Lead the development and execution of food and beverage programs for birthday celebrations, group outings, and corporate events, creating memorable experiences while maximizing revenue opportunities and event profitability.
• Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and develop food and beverage team members, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, accountability, and exceptional guest service.
• Own the financial performance of the food and beverage department, including budget development, sales forecasting, labor planning, food cost management, and profit and loss analysis; identify opportunities to improve efficiency, revenue growth, and overall business performance.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Culinary Management, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 5-7 years of progressive food and beverage leadership experience in a high-volume hospitality, entertainment, attraction, or restaurant environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing departmental budgets, P&L performance, labor costs, and food cost controls.
• Experience with menu development, pricing strategy, vendor negotiations, inventory management, and revenue-driving promotional programs.
• Experience leading food and beverage operations supporting events, group sales, catering, or birthday party programs.
• Strong financial, analytical, leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification.
