About This Role
The Assistant Director, First Generation Student Center provides vision, strategic leadership and coordination for all first-generation student programs and services at the university. The assistant director oversees the day-to-day operations of the First Generation Student Center, innovates to create pathways for first-generation student success, engages in recruitment activities, leverages technology and data-drive practices to advance first-generation student success, and creates and nurtures a first-generation community across the campus. About Us We support first-generation students (those whose parents or guardians did not complete a four-year degree) by connecting them to campus resources, coordinating efforts across the university to serve them, and fostering a first-generation community. Worksite Description This position is On-site,5-days per week. All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law.
