Job Summary

The Systems Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, automating, integrating, and supportingenterprise infrastructure and cloud services across physical, virtual, and cloud environments. This role focuseson advanced infrastructure engineering, systems automation, cloud service integrations, technical solutiondelivery, and the resolution of complex infrastructure issues. The Systems Engineer works closely with SystemAdministrators, Network Engineers, Cybersecurity teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to improve thereliability, scalability, security, and operational efficiency of enterprise technology services.

Essential Functions

• Design, implement, and improve enterprise infrastructure and cloud servicesacross physical, virtual, and cloud environments to support business operations, security requirements, and operational scalability.
• Lead complex troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and remediation efforts for escalated infrastructure, cloud, identity, and application integration issues.
• Develop and maintain automation, scripting, and systems management solutions using PowerShell, APIs, configuration management tools, and other automation technologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
• Design, implement, and maintain integrations between enterprise applications, cloud platforms, identity providers, monitoring systems, and infrastructure services.
• Engineer and maintain monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, high availability, and resiliency solutions to support enterprise service continuity.
• Participate in infrastructure modernization initiatives, cloud migrations,technology evaluations, and strategic improvement projects
• Develop technical standards, implementation documentation, architecturediagrams, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.
• Partner with Cybersecurity teams to implement and support secure infrastructure designs, security controls, compliance initiatives, and vulnerability remediation efforts.
• Provide technical mentorship, guidance, and knowledge sharing to administrators, support teams, and project stakeholders.

• BA/BS Degree (4-year) in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related Equivalent work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• 3-5+ years experience in infrastructure, cloud, systems engineering, or related experience.
• Strong understanding of enterprise infrastructure architecture, cloud computing concepts, and hybrid cloud environments.
• Experience designing, implementing, and supporting infrastructure solutions across Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, VMware, and related cloud technologies.
• Strong understanding of identity and access management technologies including Microsoft Entra ID, Active Directory, SSO, MFA, federation services, and conditional access.
• Experience developing automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, REST APIs, source control systems, configuration management tools, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
• Experience integrating enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, cloud services, and identity providers using APIs and automation technologies.
• Experience designing and supporting enterprise monitoring, backup, disaster recovery, resiliency, and high-availability solutions.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, routing, VPNs, HTTP/S, and distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security controls, vulnerability remediation, system hardening, privileged access management, data protection, and secure infrastructure design principles.
• Ability to evaluate business requirements and translate them into scalable, secure, maintainable, and supportable technical solutions.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis skills with the ability to resolve complex infrastructure, cloud, identity, and integration issues.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across infrastructure, cybersecurity, networking, vendors, and business teams.
• Ability to create technical documentation, implementation plans, architecture diagrams, operational procedures, and knowledge transfer materials.

Payscale: $82,924.00- $136,500

Bonus: This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
