Your role

At Atlas Copco, we empower innovation through precision engineering. As a Core Design Engineer on our team, you will play a key role in the detailed design and development of compressor core components and assemblies. Working with custom-engineered, rotating equipment, you will create innovative solutions that drive performance, reliability, and quality for customers around the world. Reporting to the Core Engineering Team Leader, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions while building your technical expertise and making a meaningful impact on the future of compressor technology.

You will



  • Design & Engineering:Prepare models and detailed drawings of components, sub-components and assemblies in PTC Creo.
  • Engineering Analysis: Perform detailed engineering calculations related to the design of compressors and associated sub-components.
  • Documentation:Maintain accurate and well-organized design records. (includingPLM, SAP)
  • Technical Support: Partner with manufacturing, application engineering, and service teams to resolve design and field-related issues.
  • Continuous Improvement:Support problem-solving initiatives and contribute to ongoing product and process improvements.

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with complex 3D CAD modeling and design (PTC Creo preferred).
  • Interest in custom-engineered products and solving unique design challenges.
  • A self-motivated approach and commitment to high-quality work.
  • A collaborative mindset and strong communication skills.
