Production Operator - Welder

In this essential role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of production tasks within a factory setting, primarily at designated workstations. Your duties will include handling and storing goods and raw materials, setting up production equipment such as robots and inspection tools, and ensuring that all manufacturing processes comply with established safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities:

• Perform arc welding on stainless steel using MIG/MAG,
• Pre-welding assembly and tack welding,
• Visual inspection of welds and quality assurance (including self-inspections),
• Guide junior welders and maintain robotic equipment,
• Technical welding expertise,
• Attention to detail,
• Weld equipment inspection setup,
• Perform all assembly tasks and other manufacturing requirements as instructed.

Assembly responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain production areas and equipment,
• Perform manufacturing tasks as scheduled by the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system,
• Perform operations within alignment of the work instructions,
• Conduct quality checks throughout the production process,
• Identify parts,
• Promptly report any deviations or quality concerns to the Team Lead,
• Packing finished vehicles and/or parts for shipment,
• Completing tally sheets when required,
• Adhering to 5S, ESD and EHS regulations,
• Perform self-inspections,
• Maintain special process qualifications as required.

All classifications are subject to skills and ability evaluation within the ILUO process.

Required:

• Successful completion of Weld testing.
• Special process certification required:
• Torquing (all operators)
• Crimping (electrical)
• Riveting (only trained and certified)

Experience:

• Two years of experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment,
• A strong commitment to quality, effective teamwork, and clear communication are essential,
• Proficiency in the local language is also important for daily operations and collaboration,
• Arc Welding certification (preferably from SENAI or an equivalent body) and knowledge of MIG, STICK, and TIG welding methods.
