Key Responsibilities * Install, rack, stack, cable, and decommission servers, network devices, storage systems, and related equipment. * Perform structured cabling activities, including installation, termination, labeling, testing, and troubleshooting of copper and fiber optic cabling. * Execute hardware deployments and refresh projects according to established standards and procedures. * Troubleshoot server, network, and cabling issues to minimize downtime and maintain operational excellence. * Perform cable audits, rack audits, and inventory management activities. * Document all installations, moves, adds, and changes within asset management and ticketing systems. * Support break/fix activities involving servers, networking equipment, and data center infrastructure. * Coordinate with engineering, construction, and operations teams during equipment installations and infrastructure upgrades. * Follow data center safety procedures, change management processes, and operational best practices. * Participate in on-call rotations and occasional after-hours maintenance activities as required. Required Qualifications * 2+ years of experience working in a data center, telecommunications, networking, or critical facility environment. * Experience with rack and stack deployment of servers, switches, routers, and storage equipment. * Hands-on experience with structured cabling systems, including Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6A, and fiber optic cabling. * Experience tracing, testing, labeling, and troubleshooting network cabling infrastructure. * Familiarity with server hardware components and basic networking concepts. * Ability to read rack elevations, cable schedules, floor plans, and technical documentation. * Experience working from ticket queues, work orders, and standard operating procedures. * Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and documentation skills. * Ability to safely lift and move equipment up to 50 pounds and perform physical work in a data center environment. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Goodyear, AZ. Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $36.30 - $49.50/hr.
