Admin Security Specialist

Seeking Part-TimeAdmin Security Specialistposition in Huntsville, ALto perform access control, property control functions, and routine patrol.

REQUIRED:

• Experience with DISS required.
• Active Secret Clearance

This is a Part-Time position.

The schedule is Monday & Wednesday and cover when needed.

0800-1630 (8:00am - 4:30pm)

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintainannual refresher briefing records.
• Review and approve pre/post foreign travel reports.
• Check visitors in and issueappropriate visitorbadges.
• Submit new hire packets for clearances.
• Maintain location and cost code metrics.
• Complete STEPP training for all security topics.
• Maintain Security Binders.
• Conduct bag inspections for the facilityin accordance withNISPOM regulations.
• Patrol the suite including SCIF to ensure secured.
• Coordinating meetings.
• Maintain safety equipment.
• Manage the alarm system.
• Answering front desk calls.
• Subject to frequent interruption.
• Intermittent travel to gain access to work areas and buildings.
• While performing the duties of this job,you mayvisit locations with varying temperatures and floor surfaces, and may be exposed to seasonal elements.
• May berequiredto lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50lbs.
• Requires intermittent standing, walking, and sittingfor prolonged periods throughout the workday.
• Climb 8 or more flightsof stairs.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be U.S. citizen.
• Must have a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
• Must have a current Secret clearance.
• Experience withDISSrequired.
• Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check.
• Successfully to pass an employment physical.
• Successfully pass criminal, credit and driving records check.
• Ability to prepare detailed written reports and fill out forms.
• Write and speak clearly and effectively in English.
• Be fully computer literate with computer hardware.
• Communicate effectively.
• Must be able to pass training and obtain the required certifications and licenses.
• 6 months or more of aerospace related security experience.
• Experience in personnel security.
• KnowledgewithMicrosoft Office Suit.
