Are you an experienced Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional infusion therapy while building meaningful relationships with patients? Join theInfusion Therapy team within the Cancer Care Center at Memorial Hospitalas afull-time, 40-hour day shift Registered Nurseand become part of a compassionate multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing high-quality, patient-centered oncology care.

As anInfusion Therapy RN, you'll work closely with oncologists, advanced practice providers, pharmacists, nurse navigators, and other healthcare professionals to safely administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, biologic therapies, blood products, hydration, and other infusion treatments in a collaborative outpatient setting. You'll assess patients before, during, and after treatment, monitor for adverse reactions, provide education on medications and symptom management, and ensure every patient receives safe, individualized care throughout their treatment journey.

Qualified candidates must have more than one year of RN experience.Previous oncology, infusion therapy, chemotherapy administration, or outpatient specialty nursing experience is preferred. Nurses with strong IV therapy skills, exceptional critical thinking abilities, and a passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered cancer care are encouraged to apply.

This is a Registered Nurse 2 vacancy open to candidates with greater than 1 year of RN work experience.

For a limited time, MaineHealth is offering up to $10,000 Sign-on bonus for all eligible Registered Nurses with 0-2 years of experience and $20,000 for experienced Registered Nurses with greater than 2 years of experience!
o Eligible candidates are hired (offer accepted) into a Full or Part time RN position. Bonus amount prorated for Part time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
o Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.

Summary:
The MH Registered Nurse - Ambulatory Care role provides high quality care to patients and families calling or presenting for care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, and performs a wide variety of patient care services to assist physicians/advanced practice practitioners in delivering excellent care to patients of the practice.
MH RN II: This level is competent in their clinical role and has demonstrated the ability to care for most patients assigned. Though not able to care for every patient type within their area of hire, demonstrates how to obtain the appropriate resources to develop required skills and knowledge over time. This level included automatic advancement after 1 year as a RN I - must be in good standing and meets RN I requirements.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required; BSN preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license as a Registered Professional Nurse required. Current BLS certification required or must obtain within 30 days of start date.
  3. Experience: One year of recent RN experience required. Automatic advancement from RN I level if all onboarding requirements are complete, including the New Grad Residency (where available).

The pay range for this position is $34.35to $46.46 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
