Duration: 12+ months

Payrate $20- $22 per hour

Job Description:

• Typical types of collateral include broadly syndicated, middle market and private bank loan assets.
• The operational specialist works closely with internal groups to help maintain a high level of customer service.
• Adheres to strict business line Service Level Agreements. Will focus on the support of internal partners on a variety of client relationships.
• The operational specialists responsibilities include tracking pending and settled bank loan trades; provide reports to the clients on a daily, monthly and quarterly basis; and respond to internal party requests in a timely fashion.
• The incumbent ensures 100% accuracy and timeliness of data through proper booking and reconciliation of account activity.
• Bachelors degree in finance or related field, or equivalent work experience
• One or more years of experience in bank loan processing or loan administrative activities in the syndicated loan market
• Thorough knowledge of bank loan operational functions, systems, and procedures
• Moderate credit agreement interpretation abilities and analytical skills
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills
• Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently and meet established deadlines in a dynamic teamwork environment
• Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including MS Office applications.
