Hardware Configuration and Data Management Specialist
Purpose:
- Valkyrie is seeking a dedicated Hardware Configuration and Data Management Specialist to provide support for Naval Combat Systems onboard large deck amphibious ships and aircraft carriers.
Job Description:
- Provide support to develop and maintain engineering, technical, and configuration documentation for technical data package (TDP) elements and change control documentation.
- Monitor and Control drawings that are checked in or out of TDPs.
- Maintain and track all government approved drawings for traceability purposes.
- Provide support in the development and tracking of CM products such as
- Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Drawing and SCD status tracking reports and spreadsheets.
- Manage configuration audit plans.
- Provide support in the development, tracking, and processing of SIDs, SCDs, ECPs, and Problem Reports related to SSDS.
Qualifications:
- Must have a Bachelor's in related field and at least 5 years of experience with SSDS, Navy, and/or shipboard systems or HS Diploma or equivalent with at least + 9 years related experience with SSDS, Navy, and/or shipboard systems.
- Must have proven experience in configuration and data management.
- Must have the ability to coordinate with multi-site teams and manage complex documentation processes.
Desired Requirements:
- Have experience utilizing Windchill to support IWS electronic Product Lifecycle Management tasking, preferred.
- Experience using Navy Data Environment (NDE) ILS Modules, preferred.
- Experience with supporting NSWCDD DNA, preferred.
Security Requirements:
- Must have an Active Secret Security clearance and base access requirements.
Travel Requirements:
- Less than 10%
- If position requires travel by domestic flight or access to secure federal facilities/military bases, candidate must be able to obtain (by start of position) and maintain appropriate identification credentials, such as REAL ID. Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work in an office, industrial, or shipboard environment.
- Be able to lift and move materials not to exceed the guidelines set for one-man lift.
- Must be able to perform site surveys and carry a laptop computer.

Pay Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year |
