MaineHealth Orthopedics & Sports Medicine - Rockport is seeking aBoard Certified/Board Eligible Orthopedic Surgeonto join our expanding, team-based practice serving the coastal communities of Knox and Waldo Counties. This position is ideal for ageneral orthopedic surgeon with a strong interest in knee procedures, who values a collaborative environment and diverse clinical practice.

Position Details

• Scope:General Orthopedics with opportunity to build elective and procedural volume in knee-focused care
• Practice Sites:Clinical and daytime OR responsibilities shared between Rockport and Belfast, ME
• Call Coverage: 1:10 weekend call rotation and 1:4 weekday call rotation; call coverage based out of Rockport, ME.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with Board Certification or Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery
• Fellowship training welcomed but not required; interest/experience in knee procedures preferred
• Eligible for licensure in the State of Maine
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care, teamwork, and community engagement

The annual base salary for this position is $612,192.
