The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in supporting warehouse and production operations through accurate inventory management, organization, and collaboration with team members across departments. This position requires a dependable team player who can work closely with warehouse staff, production personnel, and supervisors to ensure inventory is received, tracked, stored, and distributed efficiently. WORK ENVIRONMENT This role operates in a warehouse environment where teamwork, communication, and cooperation are essential to achieving daily operational goals. Employees are expected to support one another, maintain a safe and organized workspace, and contribute to overall team success. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Accurately and consistently enter, review, and enforce inventory processes and data. - Work collaboratively with warehouse, production, and inventory teams to maintain a smooth flow of materials to the production floor. - Support team operations by accurately receiving, counting, and recording inventory using manual and computerized systems. - Assist coworkers in maintaining organized stockrooms and accessible storage areas to improve efficiency and workplace safety. - Coordinate with team members to identify and resolve inventory discrepancies or damaged materials in a timely manner. - Tag, stock, and rotate inventory using FIFO procedures to support operational consistency and product integrity. - Help maintain accurate inventory records and communicate updates effectively with supervisors and team members. - Pack, unpack, and organize inventory shipments while supporting shared warehouse goals and deadlines. Page Break - High School diploma or equivalent required. - Previous warehouse or inventory experience preferred. - Strong communication and teamwork skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines. - Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. COMPUTER PROFICIENCY REQUIREMENTS - Proficient in basic computer operations, including data entry, email communication, and inventory tracking systems. - Experience in using warehouse management systems (WMS) or inventory software preferred. - Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel and Outlook. - Ability to accurately update and maintain electronic inventory records in a fast-paced environment. - Comfortable with barcode scanners, handheld inventory devices, and related warehouse technology. - Ability to learn new software systems and technology quickly to support team and operational needs. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS - Ability to lift 30 lbs. occasionally. - Ability to operate pallet jack and heavy-duty hand trucks. - Must possess current forklift certification, or be willing to obtain certification through company-provided training. - Ability to stand, bend, and reach overhead for extended periods as needed. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS - Must be able to pass required background screenings and pre-employment drug testing. - Must possess valid documentation establishing identity and employment eligibility. - Must be at least 21 years of age, per company insurance policy, to operate a company vehicle when required. - Must be able to travel same-day to a remote facility on an occasional basis [weekly].
