Job Title - Procurement Analyst 5 Estimated Start Date 27 July 2026 Building Location - Mossville IL On-Site Daily Schedule First shift - No OT Estimated Duration 12 months Pay Range: $45-48/hr Job Description Summary: The main function of a business operations specialist is to maintain vendor relationships, acting as a business analyst for non-IT projects or filling organizational roles above an administrative level, but below a management level. Other responsibilities may include maintaining all project management processes, including project goals, deadlines, metrics and budget. The business operations specialist usually reports to a project manager or director. Job Responsibilities:
- Review and approve contracts, cost proposals and contract supplements.
- Approve project and work breakdown structures.
- Review and approve the documentation of business processes.
- Approve project budgets and expenditures, monitor transaction controls and costs against budgets.
- Predict potential budget overruns and offer solutions.
- Consult with corporate offices, project managers, auditors, client and sub-consultant representatives regarding future proposals.
- Prepare sub-agreements and review and input sub-consultant invoices to ensure contact compliance.
Skills: - Verbal and written communication skills, attention to detail, customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Expert ability to work independently and manage one's time.
- Expert knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Expert ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles to work as needed.
- Expert ability to analyze business trends and project future revenues and expenses.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as MS Word and Excel; Enterprise Application experience a plus.
Position's Contributions to Work Group: - Analysis data sets, create process improvements, support category teams in capacity, create leadership summaries - Analyze existing tools and data to assess supplier capacity, performance trends, and risk exposure. - Translate complex capacity data into actionable insights for leadership decision-making. - Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and scalability of reporting and analytics - Support category management teams with initiatives to bridge any capacity gaps. Includes A3 action items for Network Planning and Execution, as well as Enterprise Capacity Requirements - Suppliers. - Partner with cross-functional stakeholders (procurement, supply chain, operations) to deliver actionable insights for decision-making - Prepare clear, concise leadership summaries and executive-ready reports highlighting risks, savings opportunities, and performance metrics - Track and report progress on all capacity related initiatives Typical task breakdown: - Analysis data sets, create process improvements, support category teams in all capacity related topics, create leadership summaries.
