Utilizing the nursing process as a foundational framework, this role provides clinical expertise that augments the medical plan of treatment established by the specialty care team. The nurse is responsible for assessing patient requirements, implementing specialized interventions, and coordinating care that aligns with the unique clinical standards of the specific specialty service.
