About This Role
Kansas State University's Olathe campus (https://olathe.k-state.edu/) invites qualified scholars and professionals to apply for part-time, temporary instructor pool. The instructor will teach online courses for the Veterinary Biomedical Sciences (VBS) Master's degree program. Instruction should support graduate students pursuing advanced study in pathobiology and related veterinary biomedical sciences fields. Instructor positions are non-tenure-track members of the faculty. Positions vary and are dependent upon the need, if any, each semester for the instruction of course(s) contingent on enrollment and staffing. The primary role is instruction with no obligations to perform research or service. The appointment dates will vary based on the type of appointment and the timeframe for the preparation and instruction of the course(s). Worksite Description This position is Remote eligible. Classes will be online, position is remote eligible. All employees must reside in the United States when they begin working to comply with state law. K-State is unable to provide remote or hybrid work opportunities for residents of the state of Idaho. What You'll Need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications: * Master's degree in veterinary biomedical sciences, pathobiology, immunology, infectious disease, toxicology, epidemiology, animal sciences, or a closely related field. The degree requirement is necessary for accreditation purposes and to ensure candidates possess the specialized knowledge, skills, and abilities that can only be attained through a formal educational program at this level. Preferred Qualifications: * Doctorate degree (PhD) in a field listed under the minimum degree qualifications or a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) Additional Role Information: * Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States at the time of employment.
