Job Summary Estrella Mountain Community College (EMCC) is hiring a Student Services Manager. This position provides college-wide consultation for student conduct administration, behavioral intervention, and comprehensive student care case management. This position partners with administrators, faculty, staff, Campus Police, and community resources to promote student success, campus safety, and regulatory reporting and compliance while providing consultation, training, and education on student behavior and intervention strategies. To best serve the students, department, and college, this position is fully in-person. Essential Functions 25% - Serves as the college's designated conduct officer. Conducts investigations of reported violations of college policy, student code of conduct policies, and other violations. Provides case management of misconduct from intake through sanction completion. Serves as a consultant to faculty and staff on student behavior and support strategies. Directs and oversees the resolution of escalated issues. Conducts investigations of reported violations of College policy; serves as a conduct hearing officer, and ensures timely adjudication of cases, including completion of sanctions imposed from the Student Conduct process; collaborates with Campus Police on the reporting of information for federally mandated compliance regulations; collaborates with faculty in regards to academic misconduct violations and provides recommendations for effective resolution of challenges, developing positive connections that continue to foster a community of communication and care. Serves on the campus BIT team. 25% - Serves as the primary case manager for students identified through Care referrals, including conducting intake assessment, evaluating risk factors, and developing individualized support plans. Conducts daily triage and risk assessment on all referrals received. Coordinates proactive outreach, referrals, and ongoing follow-up to support student well-being and success. Provide case management for basic needs support. 20% - Maintains a comprehensive conduct management database; compiles and completes a statistical analysis of all student conduct cases and compiles the annual BIT report; recognizes, identifies, and addresses trends in conduct/grievances to better support student success. Maintains the college website for Conduct and Care. 15% - Plans, designs, develops, maintains, and delivers resource information, trainings, presentations, reports, and correspondence related to all areas of responsibility; facilitates training of students on aspects of the conduct process and of faculty/staff on managing distressed, disruptive, and threatening students. 15% - Serves as the main point of contact for student concerns/complaints in the Student Complaint Management System. Other duties as assigned, commensurate to the grade level of the position. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, educational leadership or related field and five (5) years of full-time equivalent program administration or management experience, that includes two years of supervisory experience. OR An equivalent combination of the conferred degree and directly related full-time work experience as described above sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above, unless otherwise subject to any other requirements set forth in law or regulation, may be considered. Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution in education, social work, psychology, or related field. 2. Demonstrated experience adjudicating student conduct cases in higher education. Demonstrated experience in conflict management and mediation skills, used to resolve complex, multifaceted concerns. 5. Experience using case management databases. 6.
