Shipping Freight Truck Spotter - No CDL

Pay

$26.60 - $27.95 / hour, depending on experience and qualification

Schedule

1st Shift (Monday - Friday, 6:20 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.)

Onsite; other days and hours as needed

Job Summary

• Operate yard dog and tractor-trailer
• Stage trailers at the loading dock
• Shuttle trailers to the truck garage for repairs
• Shuttle loaded trailers back to trailer lot
• Maintain trailers for other departments
• Operate lift truck to replenish pick lanes and load and unload trailers as needed
• Perform a variety of lift truck assignments to support shipping operation
• Communicate effectively with primary customers
• Accurately document inventory of trailers, cardboard and case quantities
• Manually move cardboard and cases to designated areas
• Perform all other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Experience docking trailers
• Overall good work record (which includes attendance, safety, job performance, flexibility, and team behaviors)
• Ability to work with computers (data entry)
• Ability to perform heavy lifting
• Ability to work independently and in a cohesive team environment
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Accuracy and timeliness in handling paperwork
• Ability to obtain and maintain an Y.T.O. (Yard Tractor Operator) and L.T.O. Lift Truck Operator license
• DMV Record must be obtained by the Safety Department
• Lift Truck vision screen must be completed by Employee Health Services and must meet Lift Truck standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Current McKee Foods L.T.O. license
• Previous lift truck and/or shipping experience
• Current Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
• Knowledge and experience working with OPM11i and (WMS) Warehouse Management System
