About the Marquee Club Presented by Lexus The Marquee Club Presented by Lexus is the Fox Theatre's premium club space open to Club Level seat holders or annual Members only. Adjacent to the theatre, the Moroccan and Middle Eastern-style club is 10,000 square feet of luxury space that includes five premium bars; and three rooftop environments, including the climate-controlled Conservatory, patio-covered Arcade Terrace, and outdoor Rooftop Terrace. Inspire Students Through History, Education, and the Arts The Fox Theatre Institute is seeking an enthusiastic and engagingFox in a Box Teaching Assistant to help deliver our educational outreach program to elementary school students throughout the community. This role combines education, storytelling, and hands-on learning while sharing the rich history and mission of Atlanta's iconic Fox Theatre. Teaching Assistants may also occasionally present to middle school students and adult audiences. If you enjoy working with children, have a passion for education and history, and are comfortable presenting to groups, we encourage you to apply. About the Role As a Fox in a Box Teaching Assistant, you will help implement educational programming at schools and community sites. Responsibilities include presenting program content, transporting materials, and assisting with the setup and breakdown of exhibits. This is a part-time position with varying hours based on program needs. Expected Schedule: 5-15 hours per week, as needed. Some early morning availability is required to accommodate school visits. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Deliver the Fox Theatre's Fox in a Box educational program to students and community audiences. Learn and effectively communicate the history, mission, and impact of the Fox Theatre. Engage elementary school students through interactive educational experiences. Assist with the setup and breakdown of exhibits and presentation materials. Transport program materials between the Fox Theatre and presentation sites. Collaborate with educators, students, and community partners to ensure successful program delivery. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Required Experience working with and enjoying interactions with elementary-aged children. Minimum of two years of experience in education, youth programming, museum education, arts education, or a related field. Excellent verbal communication and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Active, valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Reliable personal transportation for travel to schools and presentation sites. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel. Ability to pass a post-offer background check. Preferred Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.F.A.) in Education, Arts Education, History, Museum Studies, or a related field. Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Experience delivering educational programming, public presentations, or youth engagement initiatives. Knowledge of history and educational best practices. Physical Requirements Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds. Frequent standing, walking, and presenting during educational programs. Ability to transport materials and exhibits between locations.
