The property boasts 1,054 beautifully appointed guest rooms (including 52 suites), seven unique dining experiences, a scenic rooftop pool, the luxury Breve Spa, and over 100,000 square feet of state-of-the-art event space. Creativity must infuse everything we do, and everyone in the Hotel. Performance realities will always exist, but we use these constraints to push, not limit, our creativity. The Dining Room Attendant is responsible for delivering excellence in guest service by supporting servers in providing personalized service, anticipating, and delivering guests' needs. The DRA comprehends the food & beverage operation, anticipates the needs of the servers to ensure all products and supplies are present to enhance overall service. Local 26 Contract stipulates starting rate per hour at $21.18 and after 6 Months of service, rate increases to $22.69 per hour. After one year of service, hourly rate per hour increases to $30.26. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Consistent maintenance and refinement of service standards. Ensures compliance with all hotel standards and local laws. * Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation awareness standards. Prepare daily for health department and Ecosure inspections. * Assist in the controlling of food and beverage quantities by avoiding over/under preparing. * Perform proper steps of service for all tables. Responsible for ensuring high-quality table sets, service, food quality and presentation. * Ensure positive guest service and respond positively to complaints, taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into return guests. * Contribute to the restaurant sanitation operation and timing of service out of the kitchen and to the table. Ensures prompt delivery and quality control from point of departure to arrival. * Maintain knowledge of hotel offerings and local surroundings, i.e., nearby entertainment, theaters, etc. * Attend all required department trainings and meetings. * Perform any other duties required by leadership. QUALIFICATIONS: * Candidate must have hands-on food and beverage knowledge and a comprehensive, working knowledge of the hospitality business. * A minimum of relevant serving experience in a fine dining restaurant is strongly preferred. * Ability to always maintain a positive and professional demeanor and composure. * Proven ability to engage guests at all levels. Must be passionate about providing warm, engaging and personalized service. * Candidate must be comfortable speaking to guests. * Ability to clearly and pleasantly communicate both verbally and in writing in English with guests, management, and co-workers. * Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays. * Candidate must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to handle multiple priorities. * Computer literacy to include Payroll systems, Micros, POS systems * Serve Safe certified | Unexpired TIPs required.
