To be part of our organization, every employee should understand and share in the Yale New Haven Health System Vision, support our Mission, and live our Values. These values - integrity, patient-centered, respect, accountability, and compassion - must guide what we do, as individuals and professionals, every day. Successful candidates will demonstrate strong clinical judgment, a commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care, and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, primary care providers, oncology specialists, consulting physicians, and other members of the healthcare team. In addition to patient care responsibilities, physicians will contribute to the education and mentorship of residents, medical students, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other clinical staff. The Oncology Hospitalist plays a key role in ensuring safe transitions of care, supporting patients from admission through discharge while maintaining a focus on quality, safety, service excellence, and patient satisfaction.
