Job Overview:
The Aftermarket Material Planne r
is responsible for establishing, reviewing, and maintaining the aftermarket production schedule to meet customer demand. Establishing the schedule will involve working closely with operations leaders, material planners, and others to coordinate aftermarket plans that achieve the company objectives relative to customer service, efficient resource/capacity utilization, and inventory investment.
Responsibilities:
- Incorporate inter-company demand and backlog into planning process to ensure capacity and resources are available to meet demand requirements.
- Monitor and drive resolution of MRP processing errors.
- Support customer service with exception request analysis and expediting resolution.
- Serve as a factory subject matter expert (SME) for SAP-ERP production planning and scheduling modules.
- Identification and resolution of Constraints - Capacity, Resource & Material.
- Conduct a demonstrated lead-time analysis and measure gap to published lead times. Drive corrective action plans and reviews and update published lead-times.
- Data analysis and reporting of key performance indicators such as delivery performance, backlog, performance to schedule and inventory turns.
- Follow all safety rules and regulations, environmental procedures and utilize required safety equipment when appropriate.
As needed:
- Receive incoming material from our suppliers.
- Use a scan gun and printer to scan materials and print the appropriate labels for material.
- Occasionally, pull and stage material in designed staging areas for both shipping and production use.
- Occasionally, responsible for packaging shipments, this includes the use of nail guns and saw equipment.
- Utilize a forklift and overhead cranes.
- Must be willing to work overtime when needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in analyzing data relating to product forecasting, scheduling, or shipment forecasting.
- Experience in manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Forklift and Warehouse experience.

- Ability to effectively make complex decisions with limited time and information and determine decision making criteria based on priorities.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple disciplines with internal and external resources.
- Strong analytical capabilities
- Strong people skills and independent problem resolution
- Data access/retrieval skills with experience in data analysis, data manipulation using MS Excel and/or other tools as provided.
- Working knowledge of SAP - ERP system.
This position will be based at our site in Bentleyville, PA no travel.
