Could you be the full-time Human Resources Director, HR Business Partner in Philadelphia, PA, US we're looking for? (Successful candidate may also be located in Pittsburgh, PA)

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your extensive Human Resources and leadership expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You'll work alongside collaborative and innovative teammates.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping and driving the business strategy, ensuring alignment with corporate values and fostering a high-performance culture. Day-to-day, you'll work closely with teams across the business (Services North America management team, HR Leadership team, and Centers of Expertise), coach leaders to become talent champions, and support the implementation of the HR Delivery Model-and much more.

We'll look to you for:




  • Supporting the implementation of Alstom's HR Delivery Model and collaborating with HR teams and Centers of Expertise.



  • Managing change programs, fostering organizational effectiveness, and cultivating a high-performance culture.



  • Driving leadership development initiatives, including critical transitions support and leadership nominations.



  • Contributing to workforce planning, headcount management, and labor cost budgeting.



  • Leading efforts to build internal talent pipelines for technical and innovative leadership roles.



  • Supporting labor and employee relations to optimize manpower costs and enhance employee engagement.



  • Coaching leaders to become talent champions and ensuring talent is in the right place at the right time.



  • Analyzing current organizational capabilities to identify and address gaps aligned with the business strategy.



  • Leveraging data analytics to inform decision-making and create clear, actionable insights.



  • Ensuring compliance with local, regional, and international labor laws.

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field (advanced degree or master's preferred).



  • Experience or understanding of HR business partnering in a matrixed, culturally diverse organization.



  • Knowledge of local, regional, and international labor laws, as well as HR processes such as talent management, succession planning, and leadership development.



  • Familiarity with organizational effectiveness and change management programs.



  • Strong communication and coaching skills to support leaders in becoming talent champions.



  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and effectively in a global and diverse environment.



  • Ability to use data to create metrics and analytics for clear data storytelling.



  • High level of learning agility, curiosity, and critical thinking skills.



  • Strategic business acumen with a proactive, adaptive, and results-driven mindset.



  • Strong leadership skills to inspire teams and drive innovation.
