Role Overview

This Analyst, Designer will sit within the in-house design team in Asset Management Marketing in New York. This role is responsible for conceptualizing and executing high-quality visual assets that communicate the firm's market insights, product offerings, and brand values. The designer must balance creative innovation with strict regulatory compliance and global brand standards. This role will execute at a creative level but is also required to perform essential production and formatting work.

The workload is structured as approximately 60% creative design and 40% production & formatting. The ideal candidate is a versatile designer who is equally comfortable designing for digital/web environments and preparing assets for physical print production.

Key Responsibilities

Creative Design (60%)



  • Conceptualization & Ideation: Collaborate with marketing strategists to brainstorm and design visually compelling campaigns, digital assets, and print collateral.
  • Campaign Asset Creation: Design high-fidelity web banners, social media graphics, and email assets for business focus campaigns.
  • Infographics: Translate complex financial data, market outlooks, and economic data into clean, modern, and easy-to-understand infographics.


Production & Formatting (40%)



  • Template Management & Versioning: Update, format, and maintain existing marketing collateral, pitch books, and product materials in monthly or quarterly cadence.
  • Insights: Support content and product team's ad hoc insights by creating header image and data visualization for webpages
  • Event Branding & Environmental Design: Adapt and elevate established brand standards to design cohesive visual assets for high-profile client events and conferences. Apply existing brand guidelines to stage backdrops, digital and directional signage, step-and-repeats, and custom booth layouts.
  • Presentation Support: Refine and format high-stakes PowerPoint presentations, ensuring correct use of templates, typography, and brand consistency.


Key Qualifications & Technical Skills



  • Experience: 1-3 years of professional design experience, preferably within financial services, corporate marketing, or an agency environment.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • Portfolio: Portfolio of designer's work as weblink or PDF is required.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud: Expert knowledge of Illustrator (vector graphics), Photoshop (image editing), and InDesign (multi-page document layout). Aftereffects, Director and other motion software a plus.
  • Figma: Advanced proficiency in Figma for layout design, prototyping, and utilizing component libraries.
  • Microsoft Office: Advanced knowledge of PowerPoint and Word to ensure seamless integration of design assets into corporate templates.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision is required to handle complex financial data and regulatory disclosures without errors.
  • Organization: Strong organization skills with ability to manage multiple projects at once with tight and competing deadlines.
  • Team Player: Team player with excellent communication and interpersonal skills who is open to feedback to refine design.


Salary Range

The expected base salary for this New York, NY, United States-based position is $85000-$110000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
