Responsibilities
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and proactive Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting of various systems and equipment to ensure optimal functionality and safety within our facilities. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular inspections of buildings and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC, plumbing, PLC, electrical, and mechanical systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair issues related to facility equipment and systems.
- Inspect, dismantle, and repair machinery as needed.
- Diagnose problems using precision measuring tools and techniques.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and work orders from staff.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies using Bigfoot CMMS.
- Assist in the setup and teardown of facilities for events and activities.
- Operate machinery to verify repairs and functionality.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members and departments as needed.
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in maintenance techniques.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including operating the wastewater treatment plant when necessary.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus
- A minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical systems, and general repair techniques.
- Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position
