Individual compensation and level of position offered is determined by the hiring location and additional factors including but not limited to job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.In addition to base pay and bonus eligibility, BNSF offers a comprehensivebenefitspackage. Travel is up to 20%.Employees will be required to occasionally travel to our corporate headquarters in Fort Worth, TX for in person meetings. Travel expenses for business needs will be covered by BNSF. This position is open to candidates who are currently authorized to work in the United States. Key responsibilities may include: Design and implementdata streaming solutions to process real-time data efficiently. Develop and maintainrobust data pipelines for both real time and batch processing including data extraction, transformation and ETL processes to ensure seamless data flow across systems. Create and managelarge scale data warehouses to ensure efficient data access and retrieval in support of business intelligence and analytics needs. Developcertified datasets by integrating data from diverse data sources to ensure data accuracy, consistency and reliability. Collaboratewith data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver effective data solutions. Optimizedata workflows, monitor data pipelines and troubleshoot issues to ensure high performance, reliable and scalable data flows. Ensuredata security and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Stay currentwith industry trends and advancements in data engineering, data science and machine learning Writeefficient and well documented code ensuring unit tests documentation for all data solutions. Implementdata engineering solutions into data platforms or production systems by leading the solution design, development, testing, and monitoring Demonstrate operational excellence by monitoring, troubleshooting, and resolving production issues, including participating in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
