Open Date Jul 01, 2026 Description Dartmouth Engineering seeks to fill multiple open-rank, tenure-line faculty positions at the multidisciplinary nexus of Biological and Chemical Engineering. Exceptional early-career candidates at the rank of assistant or associate professor will be considered for the Crump Faculty Development Chair, while outstanding mid-career and senior candidates will be considered for a distinguished professorship. We seek candidates with a doctorate in engineering, chemical or biological sciences, or a closely-related field who show strong potential to lead an externally-funded research program targeting transformational advances in Biological and Chemical Engineering. Examples of research areas include but are not limited to microbial engineering and bioprocessing as well as broadly enabling technologies such as 'omics methods and modeling. These positions will promote collaborative science within the broader Dartmouth community, including the Thayer School of Engineering, Dartmouth Health, Geisel School of Medicine, Dartmouth Cancer Center, Chemistry, and Computer Science.
