About the Role

This role supports Trust Desk clients and foreign securities operations by maintaining operational controls, meeting client SLAs, and adhering to industry requirements. It requires strong knowledge of foreign markets, settlement processes, custody relationships, and client service expectations.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Process and monitor daily foreign securities settlements across global markets.

  • Coordinate with custodians and sub-custodians to resolve trade rejects, settlement exceptions, and daily fails.

  • Support daily futures and swap variation processing.

  • Manage foreign account conversions, deconversions, openings, and closings.

  • Coordinate new foreign market openings through BNY Mellon (BNYM).

  • Oversee BNYM Foreign Market Sub-Custodian activity, including sub-custodian changes, transfers, and required documentation.

  • Coordinate client license renewals for foreign market participation and sub-custodian relationships.

  • Research foreign markets and provide guidance to internal partners and clients.

  • Serve as a client-facing operational contact for issue resolution and market expertise.

  • Participate in dual-control settlement activities and follow risk management and operational control procedures.

This position helps FIS deliver consistent service, foreign market expertise, and operational support while reducing risk and protecting client relationships.

Required Qualifications

  • Knowledge of foreign securities markets, settlement practices, and custody networks.

  • Understanding of operational controls and risk management principles.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Strong client service and relationship management skills.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

  • High attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy.
